Charon The Ferryman
The seven year old boy downtown knows about him
The one who never misses church, says he doesn't want his soul handled by Charon
He says Charon knows no mercy, no pardon
Plays with dark souls, both young and old
He knows the ferryman
The church and his parents told him of Charon
There's a story about the great ferryman
The one saying there's a sin worse than all sins
Darkness darker than hell's darkness
There's a man more scary than the scariest man
More ruthless and thirsty for blood and souls
I know of Charon...
I know of Charon the ferryman
Charon lives in the dark waters
Dark paths of the sea; no knockers
Charon is the man with the torn-out boat
Rusty nails and chip out wood
One in which blood flows and souls mourn
He knows not mercy, but old charms and soul curse
Charon talked of Molly
The one who slayed all his children
The guy in whose house they found cigars
A poster showing a bounty made on his head dead or alive
Rich Molly stays with Charon now, weeping and squeeling
He's with the ferryman, being fed regrets and torture
Charon takes no bribes; maybe your soul if you so wish..
Tell them about the ferryman
Let the little ones know about Charon
The dark figure with the old torn boat
No nails, just wood and sea of blood
No gold, no role
Just blood and forsaken souls ....
