Our king is religious!

And the statement by the newly crowned king says, "the previous king only left a sack of cereals in the granary store of the kingdom and that cannot feed the population for even a month."

A statement by the wife of the newly crowned king, now our queen says, "an office be established within the kingdom but out of the palace for the queen as proof of her royalty". The king does that.

There are rumors by the sons, daughters, nephews, cousin and all step-relatives of the king "requesting" for offices within the kingdom but out of the palace in their name as proof of their royalty. He did that.

Our traditions say that anyone holding an office of royalty must be 'gifted' at least a sack of cereals every thirty sunsets for the 'roles they play'

The bald 10-year old twins from the local water hole are carrying 5-litres each of grey water home; they say it's for drinking.

The concerned elder twin is asking the other where the king would get the sacks to 'gift' the ones holding royal offices.

Our king is a religious king, our king will pray and by virtue, by miracles it will rain, miraculously the granary store can even be filled with cereals overnight.

Religion is not bad, but how awful can we think we own religion.

Look at our king yawning in his throne

The so called leader is in fear

In doubt whether he should be here

One with a scepture but can't command

Only questions of why he has the hand

Is it really supposed to be him?

Allies believe it's the king's calling

Of course he made calls to get there

Some say it took courage

Maybe bumping off many in courage to get there

A king with no prowess, no he can't lead

Is it supposed to be him though?

He's a puppet king, confirmed

Vulnerable to induced swings, no stand

Though he plays his cards right

Only a matter of time(it'll turn dark from bright)

The king is clueless; nothing but promises

Was he the best we could find?

Respondents say they never placed him there

Allies say the he deserves the throne

Yet to dynasties, a puppet in war fair

He's trying but not the right way

A king with no voice of command

Only questions of constant reassertion

Is it really supposed to be him?
