Ever wondered how it feels 

Sit back and watch all that you've achieved from scratch

The things you thought could never be 

Days when you couldn't compare yourself with those that had it all 

Days when you shared dreams with the rich ones 

Days when you dreamt of the same things

We were never rich kids 

Always surprised of the modern world, only wore new clothes on Christmas

Happy days those were, tonnes of pride on our parents

We only had this then, but now we compete them 

Now we dream of the same things

We were never rich kids 

Went to school bare footed, yes we did this 

Wore clothes with patches, it was our flex 

Sat in classes with them though, we still do 

Writing, reading the same books 

As we dream of the same things

We had it 

We had the same dreams
