Can't we question?
Genesis, Let's begin
Exodus, I'll walk you through
Acts, Know all that's written
Revelation, Let's know
There's a supremacy in our midst
Trinity, three existence in our list
Father controls it all they say
Son is also the father; then the spirit, same as the two.
It's all religion they say.
But can't we question?
Offerings, tithes, development funds; it's one of their songs
Some preach, others criticize;to them that's how it's done
This is no good good news; complete revision of the Good Book
Religion that tames us all
Do we have a choice?
Can't we question?
The elders of our church wore bloody rags the other day
Call themselves adorned; but never in white rolls as in the Book
Misleading teachings, all in dark dealings
Hypocrisy is winning and I don't like this
Society sticking to the ways of the west; I don't like this
Why not question
Why not
The beautiful Book is loosing meaning
Dark one using mere beings in his wheelings
Religion is a tool now; edges so sharp
But because it's from another part; we can't question
Because it's not our origin, we can't ask
We can't question
Can't we really question?
