IT'S HER NEST
The Nest
Inquire on censure and she'll answer you
Talk of violence without rebute, a pro
It's a blame game on her by the society she created
Haltering her esteem and beliefs,
Only finds comfort in her nest, it's somehow peaceful there.
The nights of merry are all gone
The ugly truth, blames on her is all that downs
She can't give him a little one and it's not her choice
Four consecutive miscarriages, it's like noise
She only resolves for the nest, maybe it has answers
This is her story, questions of why her
All the expensive toys, two at table, no child
It's riches with no single descendant, Husband without a recognized seed
Where did she go wrong, thought they had the guild right
With a million lines of unanswered questions, she opts for her nest.
Maybe, just maybe she'll find answers there...
