Diffidence (part 1)

Diffidence

Never assimilated it at first,envisioned it as a stage in life  

    Cronies noticed but none gave a leadoff step

    Then pappy said it "he'll interact with 'dolls' and pull through" , but all this was oddity... 

   Took away six years of my youth,, could've built what I struggle to bring off now... 

   Sometimes I demand a refund from time; think it wronged me

    But all cooks up anger and regrets, questions of why I never departed early enough

   Questions of why I never fought it with everything I've got

    

   Still rosy though...
