Charon The Ferryman

The seven year old boy downtown knows about him

The one who never misses church, says he doesn't want his soul handled by Charon

He says Charon knows no mercy, no pardon

Plays with dark souls, both young and old

He knows the ferryman

The church and his parents told him of Charon

There's a story about the great ferryman

The one saying there's a sin worse than all sins

Darkness darker than hell's darkness

There's a man more scary than the scariest man

More ruthless and thirsty for blood and souls

I know of Charon...

I know of Charon the ferryman

Charon lives in the dark waters

Dark paths of the sea; no knockers

Charon is the man with the torn-out boat

Rusty nails and chip out wood

One in which blood flows and souls mourn

He knows not mercy, but old charms and soul curse

Charon talked of Molly

The one who slayed all his children

The guy in whose house they found cigars

A poster showing a bounty made on his head dead or alive

Rich Molly stays with Charon now, weeping and squeeling

He's with the ferryman, being fed regrets and torture

Charon takes no bribes; maybe your soul if you so wish..

Tell them about the ferryman

Let the little ones know about Charon

The dark figure with the old torn boat

No nails, just wood and sea of blood

No gold, no role

Just blood and forsaken souls ....

Joey

Joey got a promotion and can now afford antidepressants.

Joey...Joey is Joe now, so cool and confident

And Joe..

Joe is a cold engine in which none of the parts complain.

Joe is a cube someone perfectly moulded out of fossils of a man long gone:

If you remove money from the equation, Joey would now be a mad man carrying rags on his back and painting graffiti, elk on local municipal walls.

People would have fed him, they would have clothed him, they would have sympathized with him and kept him off high places because man jus take a look...look at how beautiful that graffiti painted by a mad man looks...

I think the genes for being an artist and mentally ill are not just related; they're the same. They are the same.

Little Missi

Little Missi says she knows not her dad

That he's always against her thoughts

Always shouting at her; everything is her fault

He knows not how to deal with a heart that's broken

How to nurse a bleeding heart, amuse it until it's mature

He knows not...

Missi says he doesn't...

Somebody tighten the strings and shine life on Missi again

Treat her right, let her forget the old lover's name

Grab her by the waist; make her feel loved again

Please play the sadness out of Missi, it's the melody she needs

Missi with the strings needs a melody

Somebody...

They played Missi

Some snapped the strings out of Missi, left sadness unsnapped

They played Missi

Melody made the old scars fresh again, never for once did she enjoy as expected.

Missi with the tight strings

Played by the ones in suit, ones in rags...

Played naked

Somebody... Somebody...

Drugged Me Up

Drugs...

Drugs They dragged me up

When I’m down on my knees

Not even for a prayer

Not for my daily dua

When I’m lost in shackles of death

When my body is being imprisoned

And my soul was captured

I ran out to my only assist...

In drugs I find strength

In marijuana I see peace

I’m lost in this aspect of life

Drugs,They give me joy

Drugs

They dragged me up

Finding confidence in powder

Wasting my sanity, nothing in order

I'm the one the villagers define as a stray child

One in whose footsteps they spit, no child of theirs to follow

But I have drugs and that's it

Dragging me up

Creating happiness so 'good' I can't imagine

Drugs. They dragged me up

Vision blurred and white linen of a trait charred

False strength, false mark

Drinking my life away

Injecting darkness in me

Smoking my sanity out

I'm drugged

Drugs dragged me up...

Andrew's Story

My little brother didn’t understand. He dragged a chair, stood on it, pressed his lips to the glass frame of the picture on the wall, and wh...
