Born to parents so good to raise this gem 

She's the gift given to us by nature, let's rejoice 

From Kenya to international tables, it's joy 

Daktari we praise you 

We give you credit today

Empower the girl child and you'll support a whole generation

In her bursaries we study, dreams awakening

Driven in buses of Goodwill. She's our mother

He Alone

 

And the gates of paradise would sway open; two pathways unveiling; one to the fires and another to flowers with the best of scents.

The gate to the fires is open and one to the flowers shut cold. 

He would ask, "Why to the fires?"

And a voice would answer, "Maybe you would have thought, that He alone is God. He alone..."

Maybe They Can

 

So when...

When man, plastic and pollution walked into a bar and gave out their order, the bartender said, "Looks like you three need to clean up your mess before mother nature kicks you out!"

The man out of perfect consideration took an empty plastic bottle and dumped into a trash can. Mother nature smiled and said, "maybe they're not bad after all. Maybe they can conserve the environment..."

Alone

 

It's the end of the 6th month and the little girl lies on the hospital bed, mum and dad by her side. Six months ago, a rear disorder commanded the medic to tell her she had only six months to live and here it is now. 

She holds her mother's hands so tight, looks at her straight in the eyes and says, "Promise me the land I'm heading to has light. I'm afraid of the dark. Promise me I won't be alone with him in the dark." 

Him...?

Died Of Joy

 

The happy heart syndrome, a rare condition where someone dies from excess happiness or rather being overjoyed by something. They say 20% of all deaths in the southern Europe and most African rural settings are as a result of the syndrome. 

So when...

When the ever joyous and charming priest in our local village church died of what was later found out to be suicide, all the atheists who had never seen the church doors claimed it was the devil's work. Depression had a question though...

It's Taking Everyone

 

They never talk about the ones we lose.

The ones who never return home after battle.

Those ones they force to lie on soft earth for eternity.

They just sit at table, eat and drink while we try to wash all the love we had for the ones we've lost.

I have found love. 

The recipes of this love is found in our heart, hands and in between our legs!
