Throb

It's dark

Sore hearts

We wail not out of pain but mercy

We ask of what he did

Why so early he had to go

Death doesn't smile, no smug

The dark magic knows not mercy, ponders on the blood of us feeble

He sets with the sun and pretends to slumber

Then attacks when we all lie tired and unaware

Sore hearts

We wail for the lost faith

We deserved a proper goodbye

The best smiles come in the last of days

Best memories are truly a sign, why'd you never tell us

Saw the dawn in you, said your dreams would change the world

Then it heard you; darkness sharpened it's blade and struck

Made you leave so early, didn't care of earthly tasks

Our hearts are sore

Tears of mercy

Throb...

It could have been me

It could have been him or her

It chose you and we talk not of it

Because whenever we do that; it hurts even more...
